Me am Chic, the second edition of the national women’s expo, opens this weekend at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali.

The fair had its debut last year attracting more than 10,000 visitors and this year’s edition promises to be bigger with a wider range of brands on display, more exhibitors, a packed programme and a longer list of available treatments for all those who plan on visiting this weekend.

The main innovation this year is diversity, including Malta’s national nail tech competition, Nail Compete, which will see Maltese nail technicians competing to win the grand prize ticket to the UK Nailympics next year.

Friday night’s event is also another first in Malta – a style awards event celebrating stylish people in work and at leisure. No matter how busy and hectic their lives are, juggling work and family, they always make the effort to look good, come rain or shine.

The Fashion Collective event featuring Supernova Model 16 finalists will be voting on Saturday evening and will be open to all visitors to attend.

A treasure hunt based on the popular Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy will be held on Saturday between noon and 2pm. Other attractions include live demonstrations – such as lip augmentation and anti-ageing treatments – fashion shows, weight loss packages, discounted cosmetic services, hair dressing services, shopping, cosmetic treatments and massages.

The first 500 visitors will receive a goody bag full of gifts and surprises.

More information can be found online on www.meamchic.com.mt.

The expo is also being supported by Pink Magazine, which is published by Allied Newspapers Ltd and produced by Mediamaker.
