Steve Camilleri was again on the mark last weekend when he grabbed a hat-trick for RN Bogliasco, the Italian Serie A1 team.

The Genoa outfit travelled to Naples and defeated CN Posillipo 9-8, with Camilleri on target with two penalties, apart from striking from open play.

In a previous league match, the Malta international was showered with praise in the Italian media, including RAI Sports, when playing a blinder and inspiring his colleagues.

The Neptunes player is currently heading the Bogliasco scorers’ list with eight goals from four matches, two ahead of the team’s other foreigner, Luka Sekulic.

At the moment, Camilleri is lying joint seventh in the overall scoring charts in Serie A1.

Bogliasco are in mid-table position with six points.
