Malta will be without Dragan Cerketa and Dylan Frendo for the September 29 Dove Men+Care International Series clash against Denmark.

The Sliema Stompers RL prop and the Malta Origin fullback were debutants in the last start win over the Scandinavians on June 9.

However, this time Cerketa will be unavailable and Frendo has moved to Australia.

The changes have seen coach Anthony Micallef call in two players currently playing in London, including Paola-born Jonathan Magrin.

Magrin, 17, is signed to renowned club London Broncos and at 6’1 and 96kgs will be hoping to make the step into the professional ranks of Super League.

The other call-up is London Skolars hooker Danny Burke whose team plays in Championship One, the same as Malta captain Chris Parker’s former side Gateshead Thunder.
