The management of Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar, would like to get in touch with people who have a story to tell or photos from years gone by of parties and events held at the palace, particularly pre- and post-World War II.

The palace has many magnificent rooms, none more so than the ballroom with its gilded opulence which is quite unique in Malta. The ballroom has seen many dances and parties over the years and the management would like to hear from anyone who remembers coming to the palace or has photos of their visit.

Dating back to 1733, the palace was originally built by Portuguese Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena, one of Malta’s most popular rulers during the rule of the Knights.

It was later developed as a genuine palazzo by philanthropist Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna.

If you have a story to tell or photos of bygone days at the Palazzo Parisio, e-mail info@palazzoparisio.com or call 2141 2461.
