Villa Grognet is a townhouse with a large garden attributed to architect Giorgio Grognet de Vassé and is typical of dwellings of the well to do of the late 18th century. Although this villa is thought to be his official home, Grognet lived in Valletta for most of his time in Malta.

The garden contains an elevated pathway from where the Mosta Church (designed by Grognet) is easily visible owing to the lie of the land. The property is representative of villas of the period as regards its main architecture however is somewhat rare as regards its garden architecture and its different levels.

Mepa scheduled Villa Grognet as a Grade 2 national monument as per government notice 22 dated January 10.
