The Commissioner for Children, Helen D’Amato, together with a group of fourth form students from Sacred Heart School visited the children who are currently patients at Mater Dei Hospital. The students carried out various activities with the children such as face painting, story telling and Christmas card making in the children’s wards. The students also sang Christmas Carols in the corridors.

The Commissioner for Children was greeted by the friendly staff and spoke to the children and their parents. Guginu, the mascot of the Office of the Commissioner for Children, assisted the Commissioner in handing out presents to the children.
