Week-long Christmas activities are being organised by the local council for the fourth year under the tent in Mellieħa parish square.

These activities will take place between December 17 and Christmas Eve (all day long on Sunday) and include exhibitions, Christmas food and drinks, and entertainment, including the Pink Floyd Tribute Band as special guests.

The official opening will be held in George Borg Olivier Street with a parade of Disney characters.

There will also be a crib display and the traditional procession with baby Jesus, daily live concerts on the main stage, a children’s Christmas fun park, a trackless train and dance shows by international artists United World College of the Adriatic (UWCAD) to promote peace and unity among nations.

Wartime shelters will also be open and there will be a children’s area, Kitty’s Wonderland under the tent.
