The editorial of December’s issue of Flimkien magazine appeals for respect towards the clergy.

It argues that although today’s generation are constantly looking for defects in the clergy, it simultaneously also wants the clergy to constantly be at its beck and call.

In the article ‘Ġie u baqa’ magħna’ (He came and remained with us) Archbishop Paul Cremona takes cue from Christmas, and writes about Jesus Christ as the centre of the story of mankind.

He writes that the most important task of the Catholic Church today is to help Christ in his mission to reach all mankind, and to help mankind to find Jesus.

Jesus can be met at the most unusual of occasions. This is shown by the experience related in the article ‘Iltqajt miegħu fin-Notte Bianca’ (I met him at Notte Bianca).

One of the thousands who attended the last edition of Notte Bianca relates how she was invited in for some moments of adoration at a small chapel, adjacent to St Ausgustine’s church in Old Bakery Street and how this changed her life.

The magazine features a questionaire about Christ’s birth, and an article entitled ‘Presepju Ħaj’ (A Live Crib).

There is the customary health article, the literary page and other pages with curiosities, quizzes and competitions.
