Lazio’s Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner is set to sign for Juventus after the Serie A side announced on their website that the 27-year-old was undergoing his medical in Turin yesterday.

No fee has been announced by either club although the Italian media reported that the deal is worth 10 million euros.

The right back began his career with top Swiss side Grasshopper Zurich before moving to French club Lille in 2005. Three years later he switched to Lazio where he has been a regular.

Lichtsteiner is the fourth recruit for Juventus this summer as they attempt to build a side that is good enough to challenge for the Scudetto and a place in the Champions League.
