Justin Haber’s stint with Feren-cvaros looks set to come to a close after the Malta goalkeeper turned down an offer to extend his stay in the Hungarian league.
Haber, 29, has been on the books of Ferencvaros for almost two years now. He joined them from Sheffield United at the start of the 2009-10 campaign.
This season, Haber played more regularly in the Fradi team and his performances prompted the club officials to offer him a new two-year contract. However, Haber decided to turn down the offer, citing personal reasons.
Malta striker Andre Schembri is also on the books of Ferencvaros, currently third in the league on 47 points from 29 matches.
Their final league match of the season is against Papa FC on Sunday.
