Deloitte was recently presented with the Learning and Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Awards by The Foundation for Human Resources Development.

The Learning and Development award acknowledges Deloitte’s commitment to its people which is critical for sustained employability and their development.

The impact of businesses on the community and the environment has assumed great importance and reputable organisations are making very effective contributions in this respect. The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognises Deloitte’s efforts of good and sustainable CSR practices in which it has a track record and are acknowledged by the community as projects of community benefit.

“We welcome these awards as formal recognition of the importance we give to standards of good practice in people management and the community,” said Paul Mercieca, managing partner at Deloitte in Malta.

“These awards show that Deloitte’s initiatives are aligned to its business strategy and form part of a systematic approach to learning and development and fulfilling its responsibilities to the community.”
