The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Malta recently held its certification ceremony for graduates.

The event, held at the Sagrestia Vaults, Valletta Waterfront, also marked its annual membership enrolment ceremony.

Four students – Luke Genuis, Alex Azzopardi, Luke Muscat and Corinne Muscat – completed a three-year part-time course for an International Advanced level Diploma in Logistics and Transportation Management.

Last academic year, CILT Malta, in conjunction with the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy at the University of Malta (Fema), introduced a part-time evening course for new students seeking academic qualifications.

All students with work experience from industry, transportation and logistics backgrounds who concluded their first year of academic studies were enrolled as members within CILT Malta. They were also granted individual sponsorship to encourage them to continue to research and conclude their studies.

The next academic course is scheduled for the forthcoming academic year at Fema. For more information, visit www.ciltmalta.org or e-mail info@ciltmalta.org
