Parliamentary Secretary Chris Said recently inaugurated a new playground in Munxar which conforms with all the require-ments laid down by the standards authority.

The Ġużè Aquilina Garden project will generate alternative energy and provide free Wi-Fi facilities.

With an investment of €219,000 Munxar council made use of various government schemes to be the first locality to boast such a playground.

Dr Said said 21 contracts were signed in April to implement projects worth about €900,000 in 17 localities.
