Border checks at the Malta International Airport and the Valletta Sea Passenger Terminal for travel within the Schengen area will be re-introduced from today. The Justice Ministry said this was being done temporarily due to security requirements in connection with the Papal visit on April 17-18. These controls will be in place as from the midnight on Monday to midnight on April 18.
