A 39-year-old man from Iklin this afternoon pleaded not guilty to shooting pornographic footage and photos of his sexual encounters with a married woman who lives in his street.
The man, whose name cannot be published by court order, is said to have filmed himself having sex with the woman and then disseminating the pornographic material when he discovered that he was not the only man with whom she was having an extra marital affair.
The material was allegedly distributed in Iklin and even ended up pasted on the church notice board.
The court heard that the woman was having two extra marital affairs, one of them with the accused and the other with a man who also lived in the same street.
Magistrate Anthony Vella turned down the man’s request for bail and he was remanded in custody.
The prosecution objected to the man being granted bail because its main witnesses were people who lived in the same road.
