Malta University Consulting Ltd has launched a set of short courses for the coming months.

A course entitled 'Excellence in Customer Service', which will start on April 20, is aimed at managers, executives, supervisors and team leaders and all those who wish to pursue a career in customer service.

'Strategic Human Resources Management' will begin on April 21 and aims to highlight important measures and actions contributing effectively towards the success of an organisation. The course will focus on the issues of mentoring, employee motivation and productivity, as well as employment relations.

A course called 'Inclusive Education' introduces contentious issues in inclusive and special education. Part of the course will also include knowledge on developing basic techniques and strategies. It starts on April 22.

A 'Mentoring Training Course' which begins on April 26 is designed to enable participants to combine different skill areas in order to become a mentor who is able to help and support people maximise their potential.

'Communicating with the Elderly' promotes practical guidelines for effective interaction with the elderly and presents techniques for overcoming communication problems and disorders common among elders. This course starts on April 26.

'Public Speaking' focuses on effective public speaking, particularly dealing with the fear of speaking. The course provides practice in both impromptu and prepared speeches and begins on April 28.

There are also ongoing courses in food handling, which are necessary for all who work in the catering and food preparation industry.
