Stefan Sultana was the centre of attraction at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, yesterday as a testimonial match was played in honour of the former Hamrun Spartans striker who quit the game last May. A sizeable crowd was present as a series of presentations were held while Sultana's 197 goals were transmitted on a big screen. It was also announced that the Spartans had withdrew the no. 11 shirt (see picture) worn by Sultana during his career. A match followed involving past and present footballers. Sultana's XI won the friendly. They beat a former Malta selection 3-0 with Sultana scoring one of the goals.
