The Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF) will be represented by a team of 12 shooters in this week's Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships at the Isle of Man.

In Skeet, Clive Farrugia and Darren Vella will be looking to defend the gold medals they won last year in Gibraltar.

Nicky Carabott and Jason J. Aquilina will be taking part in Trap pairs and individual events. Frank Scorfna, George Cassar, Eugenio Borg and Donald Vella will also shoot in the Trap singles.

In Air Rifle and Prone Rifle, the MSSF will be represented by William Vella and Lawrence Darmanin.

These two target shooters won a silver medal in last year's championships. Charlo Chircop will also compete in Air Rifle.

Ray Cacciattolo will be striving to improve on the bronze medal he won last year in Air Pistol.

The shooters will be led by MSSF official Grezzju Agius. Recently, George Cassar, on behalf of LLMA, presented a sponsorship to the federation to assist those making the trip to the Isle of Man.
