Lion Tea and Lion Camomile have won the Superior Taste Award 2009 during the annual prize-giving ceremony organised by the International Taste and Quality Institute in Brussels.

The tea also won this award which it also won in 2005 and in 2007.

The ceremony, held at the Cercle Royal Gaulois celebrated tasty food and drink from around the world with the jury of chefs and sommeliers tasting nearly 800 products submitted by 290 companies from 75 countries.

“Given the importance of taste in consumers’ buying decision, we are delighted to provide companies with a unique marketing tool to better communicate their products superiority,” said Louis Frère and Christian De Bauw, ITQI managing partners.

Chris Mamo, marketing manager at Borg & Aquilina Ltd, the importers and distributors of Lion Tea and Lion Camomile said the award was confirming the quality of the brand.
