The Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) is now part of the Malta Qualifications Council (MQC), and recently moved to the Council's premises in Sta Lucia. Established as the official national body to deal with the recognition and comparability of both academic and vocational qualifications, MQRIC coordinates the different agencies and authorities entitled to evaluate and award credentials and licences.

Individuals who would like to evaluate their qualifications can go to MQC's offices situated at 16/18, Tower Promenade, Sta Lucia. MQC's offices are situated on the main road of Sta Lucia, just before the parish church. Individuals need to present their original certificates and fill in an application form. Staff will make copies of the certificate/s presented, check the original/s and hand back an application receipt. The evaluation of their qualification will be sent by post. MQC staff can also email application forms to be filled in.

MQRIC also provides help to students who are interested in, or are currently reading for, a course at a foreign university.

Information on whether the course/qualification is recognised by MQRIC will be given.
