Valletta forward Frank Temile yesterday flew out to Germany to begin a trial with a club there.

Sources confirmed to The Times that Temile and Henry Ekezie, his agent, are in Munich after a leading German club, the identity of which is still unknown, invited the talented Nigerian for a trial with their first team.

Although still only 17, Temile has set the Premier League alight since making his first-team debut for Valletta last October.

He has played a big part in Valletta's title success this season with a series of vibrant performances in key matches, scoring 10 goals in the process.

Interest in Temile from foreign clubs was to be expected in light of his dazzling impact on Valletta with reports suggesting that a host of suitors are closely monitoring his development.
