Archbishop Paul Cremona recently visited Maria Regina Girls' JL, which forms part of St Ignatius College.

On his arrival, Mgr Cremona was welcomed by the head of school, Maria Debono, who took him on a tour to the school's Greek theatre, where enthusiastic students greeted him warmly.

Ms Debono presented Mgr Cremona with a gift of appreciation on behalf of the school as well as a donation collected by the students.

Mgr Cremona's visit was followed by the inauguration and blessing of the recently refurbished prayer room. The concept behind this room was to create a space within the school where students could spend a quiet moment of prayer and reflection.

The room is the result of a combined effort by numerous teachers, who created it lovingly.

The Archbishop then continued his tour and visited students in their classes, where girls could clarify any doubts and share with him personal ideas about religion and the Church.
