One sunny day, Quicky was at the beach enjoying the warm sun. He decided to row out to sea in his little wooden boat. Suddenly, he heard someone crying.

He rowed near to a pile of rocks and found a poor dolphin crying. He asked the dolphin why it was crying. It told Quicky that it was covered with oil, due to an oil spillage, from an oil tanker that had passed a few hours before.

Quicky realised that even the surrounding waters had oil on the surface. He wiped the dolphin and filled a big tub with clean water. The dolphin got into the tub and swam in the clean water.

Quicky rowed for an hour until he found clean water again. The dolphin jumped back into the sea and thanked Quicky, as if not for Quicky, who had found him, the dolphin would have died.

The dolphin was very lucky to be saved as many sea creatures and fish die due to sea pollution. We must take care of our seas as, little by little, the seas' coral reefs are being destroyed. Quicky then waved goodbye to the thankful dolphin and rowed back to the beach.
