The first Malta E-Gaming Business Directory will be published soon, Network Publications announced during a conference last week called "Gaming in Malta - what future?"

The directory will be a complete guide to Malta's major business suppliers that serve the growing online gaming industry, and will further promote the country as a top jurisdiction and an economy with esteemed business professionals.

Thanks to rigid regulations which serve as a guarantee for online gamers and a taxation system that is attractive to remote gaming operators, Malta's importance in the industry is growing. Besides benefiting Malta by way of direct taxation, remote gaming is providing value-added in terms of jobs and business opportunities for local lawyers, accountants, Internet service providers and gaming consultants.

The Malta E-Gaming Business Directory will be distributed with eGaming Review, the leading business-to-business UK gaming magazine, and will get to the hands of online gaming operators from every corner of the world.

"With news and updates from Malta's jurisdiction, licensing procedures, regulations, as well as a selection of references to legal, consultancy, IT, telecom service providers, real estate, software and hardware suppliers, local governing bodies and associations, industry statistics, recruitment, training and payment gateway providers, the directory will be the operators' entrance ticket to the country," Network Publications said during the launch.

The directory is due to be published by the end of March and will be distributed to foreign gaming operators and representatives of the online gaming industry worldwide. It will also be distributed during two upcoming international events - the Bet Market in Vienna and during the Future of Betting and Gaming expo in London this March. The annual publication will be present at other major international events throughout 2007 and during the biggest exhibition on gaming - ICE, held at Earl's Court in London next year.

Enquiries about the directory may be made to Velislava Hillman at velislava@maltamag.com or 2131-6326.
