Former Real Madrid midfielder Zinedine Zidane said he would be happy to take on an advisory role at the club if Florentino Perez returns to take on the presidency as widely anticipated.
"I have maintained a very strong relationship with Florentino Perez," the former France international told French sports newspaper L'Equipe.
"It's possible that he'll return. But yes I would be thrilled to be an adviser."
Perez was the architect of Real's "galacticos" policy that brought Zidane to the club along with Ronaldo, David Beckham and Luis Figo.
