Jesmond Zerafa has been appointed Qormi FC coach until the end of the season.

He will be assisted by Joe Brincat, who was appointed assistant coach some days ago.

The club said in a statement that this is being done after Stephen Azzopardi joined Floriana Football Club yesterday.

Mr Zerafa used to coach Qormi when it was promoted to the Premier Division some years ago. He continued to coach the team during its first years in the Premier.

In recent years, he has won several honours with Valletta.
