Activities to raise awareness about the poverty among people living in the south are being held in Zabbar today.

The aim is to unite neighbouring towns and cities to help families at risk of poverty by raising funds and other utilities.

Activities started at 10am with The Santa's Biggest Dress Up, organised by Xarabank. Wearing Santa costumes, children, young people, families and the elderly took part in the production of the music video Milied ta' Tama.

A rock mass, being attended by Archbishop Paul Cremona, is being held at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces in Zabbar at 7pm. It will feature two live bands - Winter Moods and Salt.
