Getting the message

Some people are still missing the message that photos for Junior News must be no larger than 100 to 300 K, to ensure good print quality when they appear and to prevent our e-mail box filling up so much that other contributions cannot get through.

E-mail messages are also still arriving without the name and address of the sender. Pictures and contributions are still arriving without these details too, which means they often lose out on being printed and cannot be chosen as prize winners as we would not know where to send the prize!

Talking of prizes

It is a big deal to have a picture or contribution in Junior News and Gallery and Your Letters have a prize winner each week.

But please note that the winning picture is the one with a star on it and whoever sends the star letter is always told they are the winner in a printed reply.

So you can always send as many contributions as you like. In fact, we enjoy hearing from regular readers and lots of our contributors appear frequently, just as contributors and writers in adult newspapers do!

If you have a question about winning a prize or you haven't received your winner's letter make sure you give us your full name, age and address, the name of the competition and the date your name was announced. Otherwise we cannot trace your letter to send it again.

Have a great week!

• All correspondence should be sent to Junior News, The Times, 341 St Paul Street, Valletta VLT 1211. E-mail junior@timesofmalta.com. E-mail correspondence must also contain your full name, age and address.
