Michael and Luke Zammit, of Pembroke
Dear Junior News, last summer my brother Michael and I took part in the Quicky competition. We sent some drawings.

Every week we used to check if our drawings were printed. What a wonderful surprise it was. Our pictures were near each other!

Thank you very much. We would also like to thank the sponsors, Nestlè. The prizes were great, especially the healthy book, which I take to school and use in science and the bags which we use for football and the beach. Thank you, from Michael and Luke.

And thank you for your lovely letter boys. Not many people actually write thank you letters. As you know our competition prizes are all sponsored and the companies involved really do deserve our thanks. We have told Quicky and friends about your letter and they are looking forward to reading it.

Nicole Angele Vassallo, nine, of Attard
Dear Junior News, I am really fascinated about Playmobil. At home I have quite a lot of toys from them and two books. I really wish to have the Playmobil Clinic.

With the toys I pretend they have a party, school, outings and I even pretend they are going swimming. I like using my mind and imagination a lot when I play.

At the party the figures are dancing, talking and playing with the small toys I have. In school they do all sorts of things like drama lessons and doing plays. The best one they have is the story of Jack and The Beanstalk. When they have outings they go on tours and see lots of new things and learn. When they go swimming they sunbathe and swim. This one was a lot of work to set up. I made the umbrella, so they don't stay in the sun. I also made four sheets of yellow paper and four other sheets of blue paper stuck together, yellow for the sand and blue for the sea. I am your fan, Nicole.

It's really nice to get a letter from such an imaginative fan, Nicole. And, you know, it's people like you who inspire Playmobil. Their policy is always to create toys that children can use not only to have fun but to invent their own games too and you're certainly doing that.
And you've won a Lm 5 voucher and VIP Toyland's discount card for sending this week's star letter.

• The sender of the star letter each week will receive a Lm5 voucher to exchange and a VIP 10 per cent discount card for all toys at Toyland for a whole year!

• Send your letters, together with your full name, age and address to Junior News.
