Table tennis youngsters Daniel Bajada, Mikael Debono and Christopher Portelli will be in Cervia, Italy this afternoon to participate in the sixth International Table Tennis Festival where they will be competing in various events.

This will be the third international event in less than a year for the now ex-Stella Maris College students following their successful participation in the Lasallian International last autumn in Malta and the World Schools’ Championships in the Czech Republic in March.

Recently crowned national champion, Bajada also represented the country at the World Team Championships in Moscow in May.

In Cervia, the Maltese team will be led by Stella Maris College Physical Education teacher, Kevin Azzopardi.
