A Yes vote in the referendum on Saturday is a vote in favour of rights, coexistence, cooperation, tolerance, responsibility, balance and respect, spokeswoman Kathleen Grima said.

Speaking at a dialogue meeting in Zabbar, she said a Yes vote was also a vote for the protection of minority rights and privileges from extremists and because no one should be subjected to what hunters were currently going through.

Dr Grima said one should vote Yes for equal rights in Europe and because spring hunting was sustainable and limited to eight per cent of spring.

Moreover, there was no alternative to it and, following the referendum, private land would remain private so the public would continue to enjoy the same land it was enjoying today.

Spokesman Darrin Caruana said hunters would remain tolerant and respectly and would not give in to provocation because they believed the people were intelligent enough to vote Yes on Saturday.
