UniFlip has released a new, ground-breaking, integrated Facebook application to enable publications and other documents in digital format to be distributed to millions of Facebook users on Facebook’s business pages.

UniFlip is the first company in the world to provide genuine Facebook integration for the publication and maintenance of magazines, brochures, catalogues and documents containing videos, animation, music and weblinks without the need for Facebook programming or the use of Facebook applications.

UniFlip provides a self-service solution where PDF, Word and PowerPoint documents can be converted into a digital format for subsequent publication on a company’s Facebook page, a company’s own website, on DVD, CD, USB or UniFlip’s own hosting solution.

Updates take place on a user-friendly UniFlip account where design, links, music and video from e.g. YouTube can be inserted and published in up to 19 different languages. The user’s Facebook page and website are updated immediately.

Kim T. Rasmussen, CEO of UniFlip, explains: “Facebook is a power factor on the internet that many companies ignore at their profile as users prefer not to have to leave the popular social medium. This means that it is important to have a Facebook page for companies to present their products and services.

“New ideas and great offers spread at lightning speed on Facebook. So far, it has not been possible to create and maintain digital publications on Facebook pages without spending a lot of money and resources, but with our new integrated Facebook application any company will have fast and easy access to Facebook.

“Our customers in more than 60 countries are thereby given the opportunity to market to more than 500 million new customers as an additional, free feature on their UniFlip account.”

CEO Kim T. Rasmussen has been involved in the IT industry for more than 30 years, but originally trained in a printing industry that was already under pressure and which is now facing another challenge with this new initiative of distribution of e-publications and e-documents on the world’s most popular social medium.

Companies and organisations can set up a Facebook page for free and thereby gain access to millions of Facebook users worldwide in a quick and cost-effective way.

Gartner Group, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, stated earlier this year that Facebook will become the most important hub for social media on the internet in 2012, and companies should market their products and services on business pages on Facebook which has just entered into a close partnership with another social medium, MySpace.

If you already have a Facebook page or website, test the UniFlip system for free for eight days. Visit www.uniflip.com.
