Vodafone is giving away 200 free SMSs to all new customers who connect to its prepaid service and top up their account with Lm5 or more.

The offer, valid until July 16, applies to local SMSs to other Vodafone numbers. Customers must use their free SMS within one month.

Vodafone is also giving its customers the opportunity to use the "call back" service whenever they find someone's Vodafone line busy. Vodafone will monitor the status of both lines and a call between the two parties will be established the moment they both become free.

The company has also launched a wide range of World Cup news, infotainment and media. Goalcity will provide Vodafone live! customers with World Cup news and Ringtones.com, the world's largest ringtones provider, will be putting on a number of World Cup related content consisting of national anthems and national badges.

Musiwave will launch a whole section consisting of ringtones and wallpaper so that customers can choose to have their favourite team's content on their mobile phones.

Vodafone customers can follow the English or Italian squads by sending an SMS to 5090 2346 and 5090 2347 respectively. Fans of other teams can send an SMS to 5090 2348.

Electronic Arts Sport Division will provide the EA Sport World Cup 2006 game for mobile phones.

Call customer service for more information on 247 if calling from a Vodafone or on 2148 2820 from any other phone. Or send an e-mail to customerservice.malta@vodafone.com
