Works on the Sliema-Gzira bus lane will commence tomorrow and, weather permitting, end on Saturday, Transport Malta said.

No road closures or deviations are envisaged.

As previously announced, the existing bus lane at the Ferries, in Sliema, will be extended along the strand in Gzira. The inner traffic lane will become a bus lane, along a stretch of 694 metres while parking along the promenade will be retained.

LPG cars, motorcycles, electric cars, high occupancy vehicles (driver plus at least two passengers), coaches and taxis may use the bus lane.
