The Catholic Action Movement celebrated the World Union of Catholic Women's Organis-ations (WUCWO) Day at its headquaretrs in Victoria on May 18.

After an introductory speech by council president Netta Camilleri, the hymn Queen of Peace was sung, followed by a concelebrated Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.

In his homily Mgr Grech spoke on the woman's essential role in the family - that of being the principal educator of the heart and spirit.

The second part of the programme was led by Dar Ġużeppa Debono director Maria Attard who explained the profound meaning of peace. She then introduced a separated person who recounted her long healing process and the support she received.
