A Young British woman suffered facial injuries this afternoon during a collision which involved three cars at Triq is-Salina, Salina.

The police said a Mini Cooper, a Toyota Corolla and a Honda Civic were involved. The Mini was driven by a 20-year-old from Birkirkara while the Toyota and the Honda were being driven by a 49-year-old man from Mosta and a 34-year-old man from Naxxar respectively.

The woman, who was a passenger  in the Toyota, banged her head against the windscreen. (see pictures)

The drivers of the Mini and the Honda were slightly injured.
