A 78-year-old woman from Floriana was injured today when she was hit by a reversing van in her hometown.

The incident happened at about 10.15 in Vincenzo Bugeja Street.

The van was being driven by a 29-year-old from Dingli.

The police said the injuries are not life-threatening.
