A woman was injured this morning when she was hit by a parked car as it was pushed by a truck in Manwel Dimech Street, Sliema.  

The police said the owner of the car had opened the door and was about to get in when the truck passed by and crushed the car's door, moving the car and hitting a woman who was in front of the car at the time.

The accident happened at around 11am.
