Stephania Grech, 37, of Zabbar, was conditionally discharged for two years this afternoon after she admitted in court to having insulted a police officer at Zabbar police station on Friday night.

Ms Grech had been accused of swearing at a woman police constable and disobeying her orders.

Police Inspector Fabian Fleri told the court that Ms Grech remained arrogant even when told that her words may land her before a magistrate.

Ms Grech was given a conditional discharge after the court considered that she had a clean police conduct sheet.
