A 75-year-old woman from Għajnsielem was grievously injured yesterday when she was hit by a car at Pjazza tad-Dehra in her hometown.

The accident happened at 4.30pm.

The car was being driven by a 27-year-old man from Nadur.

The woman was taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance.
