The winner of the Birkirkara/NK Maribor match will meet APOEL of Cyprus in the third qualifying round of the Champions League after the draw was made today at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon.

Birkirkara drew 0-0 with NK Maribor in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round match, played last Tuesday at the National Stadium.

The second leg, in Maribor, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

The Europa League third qualifying round draw was also made today.

Valletta will face Norway's Rosenborg or St Johnstone, of Scotland, if they manage to knock out Belarussian side FC Minsk.

Yesterday, the Citizens were held to a one-all draw by Minsk in the first leg of their second qualifying round game. The second leg will be played next Thursday.
