Qormi’s annual wine festival will be back soon, for the sixth year running, bringing to the fore a wide selection of locally produced red, white and rosé wines.
Qormi has long been linked to wine and traditional bars, most of which have had to make way for modern establishments.
Besides its popular bread-making culture, Città Pinto was sought after for its then-popular winemaking and serving of house wine in humble bars.
The festival seeks to recreate tradition in a contemporary setting.
The picturesque town centre will be transformed for a festive celebration on September 3 and 4, from 8 p.m. till midnight, with wine being served until 11.30 p.m.
