As part of the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain a replica of Sir Sydney Camm's Hawker Hurricane was lowered in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

The Hurricane will be on a special display at the Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo as part of the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. In April 1913, Sydney Camm as secretary of Windsor Model Aero and Gliding Club, helped to design build and launch a 32ft wing span glider.

This was then carried through the streets of Windsor to the Home Park.
