After dropping just one set in the opening three rounds of Wimbledon, Britain's Andy Murray is setting his sights high before Monday's fourth round match against eighth seed Richard Gasquet.
"I'm not really thinking about reaching the quarter-final. I'm more interested in making it to the final," he told reporters.
Frenchman Gasquet, 22, enjoyed a grand slam best performance with a semi-final appearance at Wimbledon last year, losing to eventual champion Roger Federer but his progress this year has been hampered by injury. "He (Gasquet) hasn't had the best year so far, but seems to be playing much better the last few weeks. He's a very talented player. I'm going to have to up my game if I want to win," Murray, who has lost both matches he has played against the Frenchman, said.
Murray has yet to make a quarter-final at any grand slam but will take heart from Saturday's comfortable third round victory over former world number two Tommy Haas.
Gasquet, who missed this season's French Open with a knee injury, has passed two of his compatriots leading into the fourth round, with Sebastien Grosjean retiring through injury and 28th seed Gilles Simon downed in four sets.
The Frenchman is content with his progress so far.
"Not my best tennis, but a good tennis for sure. Step by step I'm playing good. But I fight. I serve well. Everything is possible in the tournament," he told reporters.
