Pop star Robbie Williams is auctioning some of his ‘prized possessions’ to raise cash for a children’s hospice.

The ex-Take That singer is putting 150 personal artefacts, including awards, stage costumes and handwritten lyrics dating back to the early 1990s, under the hammer in the Bonhams sale.

Items include a set of hand­written lyrics for Let Me Entertain You, estimated to fetch €8,300, and the cream two-piece suit worn by Williams in the music video for Radio (€9,700).

The auction, to raise money for The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, takes place in July.

Williams, who has also put his MTV video music award for Take That in the auction, said: “It’s a privilege for me to be a patron of The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.

“It makes a real difference to these children whose lives have been tragically limited.

“The sale gives a great opportunity for bidders to know their money will go to such a fantastic charity, while also taking home some of my most prized possessions that have been personal markers of my career and life so far.”
