The winning photographs of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition organised by Heritage Malta’s National Museum of Natural History will be exhibited in Gozo at Heritage Malta’s Gozo office in the Citadel.

Photographs were submitted for three categories: flora, fauna and marine. Apart from a winning photograph for each category, an overall winner was chosen from the 10 finalists.

The three winning photos and six runners-up from each category were on display at the National Museum of Natural History. They will now be exhibited at Heritage Malta’s Gozo office between March 20 and April 30, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Entrance is free.

This competition attracted no fewer than 43 amateur photographers submitting over 340 images of flowers, birds, mammals, reptiles, fish and other animals.

Some of the photographs submitted for this competition were also reproduced on postcards and can be bought from all Heritage Malta shops.
