Here we go again. Our electric and water bill arrives through our door and once again our bill is calculated under the domestic tariff after sending all the relevant documentation to ARMS.

A few days ago in The Times, ARMS said all one has to do to change to the lower tariff is to either send a certificate of residence or send proof that one pays tax here in Malta, which we duly did. So how many times do we have to do this to get the lower tariff? Can someone at ARMS tell me what we have to do and if we will get compensated on all the bills we have been charged the higher tariff on?

This is unbelievable in this day and age – that we are classed as zero residents and as holidaymakers when it is quite obvious we live here all year round by the consumption we use. It’s not rocket science.

The bills are high enough without this extra burden being put upon us.
