With the failure of the Copenhagen Summit on climate change due to China's intransigent stance and their execution of a mentally ill British subject, we have to view these incidents as stern pointers to what the future holds for the world-at-large when China becomes the most powerful economy in the world by 2020. But it has to be said that we shall have brought this future draconian socio-economic global system onto ourselves through sheer greed in the West.

For we have made China what it is today and what it will be tomorrow through the West's transference of its industries over the past 20 years. We now invest most of our capital in China. This will make a very few select people in the West extremely rich and powerful as usual but it will impoverish the vast majority who are left without jobs and security within their homelands.

Considering our unfolding dilemma, this process can be seen as a crime on a momentous scale against all who have gone before us and fought two world wars for our very freedom. Indeed, things from now on will be totally different and we now enter a world of real hardship in the West. But all in the final analysis brought about by our own very doing.
