The Malta Weightlifting Federation is organising an open competition as a qualifying round for the Silver Dragon Tournament to be held next October in Cardiff, Wales.

The open competition takes place on Sunday at the Marsa Sports Centre, starting at 10 a.m. Another activity from the local weightlifting body will be held on September 2 at 7.30 p.m. in Marina Street, Marsascala.

Local weightlifters are preparing seriously for the upcoming events under the supervision of their coaches.
