• Consumers should have a good look at the warnings on toys and observe them carefully.

• Before buying a toy, it is the consumer's responsibility to make sure it is suitable for the child who will play with it.

• Unsafe toys should be immediately reported to the Market Surveillance Directorate of the Malta Standards Authority.
